NYC Spinal hosted our 14th Annual Mardi Gras Fundraiser on Tuesday, February 27th and it was bigger and better than ever! More than 325 people attended our wild dance party and as usual, it was an evening of good music, good food and lots of craziness!

Thanks to our wonderful long-time sponsors, committed donors and supporters and new friends like the folks from Accessible Dispatch and Red Fin, this year’s event raised over $54,000 to fund our 2018 Grant Program.  NYC Spinal grants provide funding for adaptive equipment and community programs that enable people with spinal cord injuries to maximize their independence and quality of life.

Mardi Gras Entertainment

Dr. Zha’s Powdered Zydeco Band, DJ Mav Entertainment, and Corey Hill and the Sparkle Dancers really brought the FUN to our fundraiser!  Entertainment included a roving magician who made a live dove turn into a handkerchief and TWO stilt walkers who somehow managed to dance while balancing 6 feet off the ground.
