Vaccine appointments are now available for NYC residents who live in one of thirty-three NYC neighborhoods identified by Mayor Bill de Blasio and the Taskforce on Racial Inclusion and Equity as having borne the brunt of the pandemic.
To help protect the most vulnerable members of our community, NYC Spinal President, Jose Hernandez and leaders from Independence Care Systems (ICS) have made arrangements with the NYC Dept. of Health to set aside 30 appointments for our members and their home care workers to receive vaccinations next Wednesday and Thursday, February 24 and 25, 2021, between 10AM-2PM at The Ford Foundation, 321 E. 42nd Street, Manhattan (between 1st and 2nd Avenues). The building is fully wheelchair accessible.
Vaccine appointments are available for people with spinal cord injuries regardless of age and will be offered to any home care worker who accompanies you on a first come, first served basis.
