Ever since moving into my apartment 2 years ago, I have found it very difficult to open the front door. I have depended on others to do the deed for me. Fortunately, the NYCSCIA was kind enough to accept my grant application for an automatic door opener. Now I can come and go as I please with the push of a button. I have one remote attached to my wheelchair and another remote near my bed. It has been a blessing and an honor to be selected for this grant. It is a true testament that we are not alone. Thank you!
